JAG Pics and Vids

It has been a while (seems like I usually start posts off like that now), but finally got some pics uploaded. Uploaded to the same photo album as before [CLICK HERE]. The latest pics start at #96. Which is also feature here to the right of Jordan on his nebulizer. Hard to imagine thats even a word. Jeremy is starting to get a giggle going, he should be laughing soon. Jordan gives plenty of smiles and tries to fight it and go back to his stone cold glare. He can't hold it though and usually gives a crooked smile again.

And finally a couple vids...Jordan having fun with his bear and Jeremy talking about us being sick the last couple weeks on Easter Sunday morning. Got about 4 more vids coming up soon!

Quick! Someone Lend Me Money to Start a New Line of Jeans

Its going to be a hit. Start investing now! The brand name is...drum roll please...

20lb Jeans!

That way when you get on the scale at the doctor's office or anywhere else, you can just say, "Oh, its cause I'm wearing my 20lb jeans!"

Nudey Baby

We already knew that we had 2 babies that loved to be nude. If they are ever upset, you can usually calm them down by putting them on the changing table and taking off their clothes. But until last night I didn't know to what extreme Jordan would go to be naked. When I put them to bed I had him dressed in a long sleeve onsie and wrapped in 2 swaddles. When I woke up I went to go check on them and I found a completely naked (except for the diaper) smiling baby. He had somehow wiggled out of his onsie, swaddles and socks and moved about a foot further up in the bed. His clothes were around his knees. I have no idea how he did this. Wish I could have watched. Gotta keep and eye on this one, he's sneeky.

Happy Easter!

A very memorable Easter weekend for us. Had to cancel our fajita cookout and tell family to stay away from us. Jordan's evil plan for world domination was launched this weekend with the spread of his virus. First mom was hit. Then he attacked dad and now Jeremy his sick too. We really thought it was going to pass quickly...but things seem to be getting worse for me. Mom seems to be getting better though and that is really good. Jordan is still coughing pretty bad. Jeremy is too and is real snotty. Our Easter egg hunt was everyone passing out and going to sleep. Except for momma...she'd wake up anytime a boy coughed and took care of all of us.

Would love to give more details about my Dad and Mandy's visit and then Mari and the family's visit...but I'm ready to go to bed again. So I will just let the pictures do the talking. This album [CLICK HERE] has all the latest pics of the family visits and our happy, but sick, boys.

And here is a vid of Jordan with nebulizer...

Shots for Jeremy, Jordan Sicky-Poo

The boys had their 2 month check-up and immunization shots appointment yesterday. Turned in to a really loooong day. The night before Holly and the boys went to my football game (we won 26-0 and are 3-0) and it seemed like Jordan started getting sick there at the field. By the time we got home he had a pretty bad sounding cough. So at the visit yesterday, Jordan got looked at first. Turns out he has bronchiolitis. Little guy is a trooper though. They gave him a breathing treatment with a nebulizer. I'd never heard of this futuristic device, but Holly has used it plenty of times in her great nanny adventures. Jordan toughed it out despite his pathetic wheezing and ugly sounding cough. He just sat there and let momma put the breathing mask on him and breathed. So with Jordan being Sicky-Poo, we had to skip on his shots.

Jeremy was looking good though. Nothing but similes and after a long wait for Jordan to get checked and then more waiting for the nurse to come back with the shots, it was finally time. First he got some stuff he got to take orally, it is supposed to taste pretty sweet, but he didn't seem to care to much for it. The next 3 were shot shots...with long needles. Jeremy was doing good and then...POKE...POKE...POKE! The nurse was really fast with the jabs and the injections and it was over in seconds. Jeremy cried out as soon as they jabbed him, but stopped really fast after the last needle and was like, "Oh, thats it? Cool man." Jeremy did get a fever from the shots later that evening, but he is doing really good.

So here are the boys vitals, percentiles in ( )s...
Jeremy: 13lb 0oz (75%) - 23.5 in (50%)
Jordan: 10lb 13oz (20%) - 23.0 in (35%)

After the docs, we drove around to go pick up our own nebulizer, then to Walgreens for the meds for the nebulizer, picked up lunch and went home. Both guys did really good last night and slept all night except for feeding time. Jordan still doesn't have a fever and hopefully won't get one. We got some more pics of him on his new nebulizer complete with a dinosaur mask. Will try and post those and other pics tonight.

Keeping Bananas Fresh at Work

Just found another use for the velcro straps/ties we use in the lab to organize all our cabling. Of course, if the velcro doesn't hold...the 'naners are going to crush my RAIDERS antenna ball.

Jeremy's Doc Visit

Last Friday we had to take Chumbawamba (mommy nicknamed him that) to the pediatrician. Poor little guy has been having a little blood in his poo-poo. He is doing fine though, happy as can be, eating fine and no temp. Just thought we'd get him check out. Of course they didn't really tell us anything useful. Mom is going to get off dairy for a week and see if that helps. Looks like there is a lot of reasons for this its not uncommon. The only really useful info we got was when they weighed Jeremy. As of last Friday he weighed....12lbs 7oz!

They had us waiting forever to get him checked out. Jordan got to sleep through it all, but they woke Jeremy up a couple times before his real "exam." An intern had a pretend-look at Jeremy, but he handled it well. Smiled at everyone who touched him with their cold PhD hands. He got fussy a couple of times, but he did great.

Both boys should have had their 2 month check-up and vaccinations over a week ago...however, Aetna is dumb and removed Jordan off the insurance plan. They sent me an insurance card with both boys' names on it...but then yanked him off the coverage. No one could answer why. Had to call in on 5 different occassions. One of which they told me they fixed it and he should be back on the plan in 48 hours. Lies. Finally ended up calling IBM HR again (what I did to get the kids on the plan in February) and have them do it again. Both boys are finally covered and they get their shots (not fun) tomorrow. We also get to see how much they weigh.

Jordan seems very small and light. I am hoping he weighs in over 10lbs. He may just seem really small compared to Chumbawamba.

On a side note...my flag football team is now 2-0! We play another good team tonight at 6:30 PM. Bring it!
