50 Miles per Gallon

I don't know about you guys, but these insane gas prices are killing me. Had to fill up the Honda Rebel 450 today...used to only cost me a cool $5 bucks, but now...$7!?! Insane. Thats about what I pay on insurance for the bike every month. The $7 bought me only 1.843 gallons, but that got 93.4 miles on the Rebel.

50 MPGs is sweet!

Mommy's Day

Happy belated Mommy's Day to all the mums out there. On the 9th we drove out up to Oklahoma to go visit my mum. Side note, this would be the last trip in the Raider Tacoma :( don't worry, it was replaced with Raider2. More on that in the near future. Friday afternoon traffic was heck but we eventually got to Ok okay. On Saturday we went to check out Myriad Botanical Gardens and Crystal Bridge Tropical Conservatory. Pretty cool place. The rest of the weekend was spent gorging on stake and fajitas and so much other goodness that Roy and mommy cooked up. Delish!

Mari is getting big...the pic of sweaty momma in front of the fan is the best! Holly and I feel in love with Deanna, she was a cute little bugger. Mari and Louis seem to be doing great and have 3 AWESOME kids with one on the way. The last 2 pics in the Photo Album are more funny if you there. Bella wanted to take our pic...the short stack needed 3 tries but finally got a good pic. We enjoyed the weekend...

Thanks guys!

Sad Goodbye To A Great Friend

After about 3 years, close to 73,000, one wreck, countless trips to El Paso, Oklahoma, Dallas, San Antonio, Corpus Christi and Mustang Island...Holly and I said goodbye to our 2004 Toyota Raider Tacoma. Driven off the lot with about 5 miles, she took great care of us all the way up until we traded her in. We'll miss ya girl. :(

FOOTBALL!!

Woop woop! Football is back. Tonight our IBM league starts. Haven't thrown a football since last season...work has been busy here for everyone and we didn't get to practice. Don't think any other teams have either. We shall see if we can win our 4th straight title here. This pic is was taken after the championship game last December.

This video is from our first win 3 seasons ago...the league was much better then, some good competition. It hit a low last year, but the new teams from last year are returning and will hopefully be more challenging.

And this Saturday tune in as the Raiders draft D.McFadden who will wear #34 in Oakland.

Doggies and Flowers

Saturday was a pretty busy day. Started out with a 3 our intro class deal on being a partner at Austin Stone Community Church. Great church by the way, Holly and I love it! Let me know if you want to know anything about it. Then we helped a friend (Anita, she plays drums) change the front brakes on her Honda Civic. After that we packed up the doggies and head over to IBM. The bluebonnets popped up there a week or so ago. Been wanting to get some pics with the doggies there for years and we finally did it. [ PHOTO ALBUM ]

Doggies both popped on IBM property...take that! They enjoyed it....both the running around the flowers and the pooping. T-Bone is a good enough doggie to run around on his own and I got some pics I liked of him on the train tracks between IBM and Tivoli.
