JAG 2nd Birthday

Happy birthday boys! To kick off the beginning of the year we took the boys back for some pro pictures. There are some pretty nice shots of the boys. They did really well listening to the nice camera lady and following directions.

There is a link to all the pictures down below. We would like to be able to order prints for family...but it got expensive quick. Kodak Gallery does a good job if you want to order from them. If you want any of the digital images, just let me know.

Two Sundays ago, the 23rd, we had a small family birthday party. The boys have been big on choo choo trains, so Holly made a them a choo choo train cake. They each also got their own engine car piece of cake to chow down on. Jeremy was trying to eat and keep his hands clean at the same time, poor little guy had a slow start but caught up quick. Jordan wasted no time diving in face first.

After quick it was show time, time to unwrap gifts. We saved the best for last. Second to last gift were construction hats...to go with the Handy Manny tool box with dancing tools! The last video is from the 26th, their actual birthday when they got cookies delivered from Tiff's! The awesome Jessi and Adam sent them over for them.

Happy Happy 1st Birthday Party

What fun we (the parents) had last Saturday for the boys first birthday party. We can't say enough how blessed we are to have such great friends and family to come celebrate our boys' first birthday. Thank you all so much. The boys played around with friends all day long and skipped their nap. They were so happy to have everyone looking at them while they were sung to and got a piece of cake. They didn't want to get their hands dirty. They studied the cake for a while and finally Jeremy just ditched the hands deal and just went in for a bite.

That cracked Jordan up and eventually Jordan did the same thing. After a while they finally decided it was okay to get their hands dirty and they ripped that piece of cake to smithereens. They had fun opening their gifts and even played with the toys some instead of just playing with the wrapping paper. Every once in a while they let out a "Ouuuu" when they got a good toy.

At dinner time they were a bit fussy because of the whole skipped a nap thing. Then more family came over for a visit and they were back in entertaining mode. They had more fun playing with all their toys and with Uncle Mike that they forgot they were tired. They then went a half hour past their normal bath time...and eventually it caught up with them, but they made it to bed and slept good.

My cousin Augi and the family drove in from Houston for this special occasion. His kids (Serena and Diego) are huge now. Augi mentioned Serena recently had her first sleepover. Made me a little sad thinking about how I practically grew up living at my Tia Esther and Tio Agustin's house with my cousins and how the boys would not have that. Those were fun times...except for the time we were playing on the side gate, swinging ourselves on it and the gate (wrought iron) broke off. Ay chihuahua was Tio mad. Happy 1st JAG Birthday!

We're gonna head down and give the boys a lil' piece of birthday cake. Here is a video of a bunch of different vids from the last couple of months. Video starts with the boys watching themselves on the display of the camera after waking up. Then the boys are chasing each other after a bath wearing only their towels on their heads. After that the boys are learning to walk, first Jordan and then Jeremy...which turns into a fight over the infant tylenol bottle that Jeremy found. After taking it away from both of them, Jordan loses it. The boys settle down and start to play on their alphabet train. Finally, the boys are playing on their chairs and looking out a window....Jordan takes a tumble but recovers nicely.
