Photo Album Update

Sorry it took so long. Busy, busy past couple months. Got a photo album back log...4 albums to share. Been a while since we posted some JAG pics. So here goes...
  • Bluebonnet Photos at Walnut Creek Park: These were taking back in April. I didn't notice while I took the pics, but I learned I need to use the flash when the sun is directly overhead to try and get read of the shadows on people's faces. Wish the pics of Holly and the boys were better.
  • JAG April Pics: Pics of JAG life in the month of April. Starts with pics of a nest and bird eggs in our backyard. Towards then are pics of the baby birds in the nest! You also get pics of the boys. There is a funny string of pics of Jeremy, he can't keep his eyes open cause he knows the flash is coming. Pics of our backyard during a heavy downpour, the boys playing out front with bubbles and playing out back in the pool.
  • Pond Pics w/Tio Zaiah: Isaiah was hear visiting back in the beginning of May. We took a bike ride to a nearby pond for pics.
  • Mother's Day Pics: Not sure how in the world this happened...but didn't get ANY pics of mama! It won't happen again, I promise. These are just pics of the boys playing out back...it was on Mother's Day though :)
I will be back very soon for an update about my upcoming mission trip!

Easter and Beyond

Been a long time...so here comes a quick (maybe not) update. Mari and the kids came to visit Easter weekend. Colored Easter eggs Saturday afternoon, Mari spilled the coloring and made a mess. Big bag of confetti disappeared off the counter top, haven't seen it since. That evening we went to IBM and got a bunch of pics with the bluebonnets. Then it was off to dinner at the County Line on the Lake. Long wait and there were not even any turtles in the river to keep us company. Here is the full photo album on Kodak Gallery.

Rewind a little further back into March and we had Poppi staying here with us for almost a month. The boys got to really get to know her and had so much fun with her. This Photo Album has all the March pictures.

And finally some videos of the boys. The first video is from March 4th when Poppi was here. She was letting the boys play with her glasses. The looked like goofy little nerds wearing her glasses.

This last video goes way back to October 18th, 2009. It is a video of Jeremy learning to go from sitting to crawling and then back to sitting up on his own. He got so happy when we cheered for him!

JAG Pics and Vids

It has been a while (seems like I usually start posts off like that now), but finally got some pics uploaded. Uploaded to the same photo album as before [CLICK HERE]. The latest pics start at #96. Which is also feature here to the right of Jordan on his nebulizer. Hard to imagine thats even a word. Jeremy is starting to get a giggle going, he should be laughing soon. Jordan gives plenty of smiles and tries to fight it and go back to his stone cold glare. He can't hold it though and usually gives a crooked smile again.

And finally a couple vids...Jordan having fun with his bear and Jeremy talking about us being sick the last couple weeks on Easter Sunday morning. Got about 4 more vids coming up soon!

New Baby Pics!

It has been a while, but here some pics from a couple at home "photo shoots." The photo album [CLICK HERE] was taken our first week home back on the 5th. I wasn't too excited at how they turned out so I was going to redo them, but time slipped by and now the kids are bigger. This second album [CLICKITY-CLICK HERE] was taken earlier this week. It started with the kids in their RAIDER onesies, then turned into nakey baby pics.

Holly's parents have been here since last Saturday and it has been awesome having family here. There are more "normal" pics of the boys and family/friends in the regular photo album with the most recent starting at pic #153 [CLICK HERE]. Both of Holly's parents have been cooking and watching the boys for us and it has been such a great week. Holly and I even had a lunch date alone at a fancy Italian place. The Olive Garden. That was our "fancy" night out for like the first 4 years of our life together. Holly took home some Tiramisu, so she was happy. Mr.Greg drove back home today and got there safely. We miss you already Pops! Come back soon.

One other exciting thing happend this week...Jeremy and I took a trip. It was 3:30 in the AM and Holly had been up all night and woke me for some help. So I offered to take them downstairs so she can sleep uninterrupted. Holly went down with Jordan and I followed...laptop and tea in my left arm and Jeremy in my right arm (like a football). Took a few steps, lifted my left leg and then my right foot slipped off the step hit the next step and kept going. My back and tail bone crashed down on the stairs and when I hit, Jeremy rolled out of my arms. He was swaddled really tight and started sledding down the stairs...some how I just slammed the stairs and sat up right away and grabbed him. In that split second all the worst horrible thoughts ran through my mind and I was just sick. Holly came running back up terrified. I was holding Jeremy and knew everything was fine and then the pain settled in. After Holly panicked, Jeremy started crying...but I walked him down stairs and he went back to sleep. Worst part was just having to clean up the tea I spilled.

Week And A Half To Go

Holly entered her 36th week on Tuesday...
Babies are gaining about an ounce a day. They now weigh around 6 pounds (like a crenshaw melon...okay?) and are more than 18 1/2 inches long. They're shedding most of the downy hair that covered their bodies, as well as the vernix caseosa, the waxy substance that protected their skin during their nine-month amniotic bath. Next week, the babies will be considered full-term. Most likely they are in a head-down position, but if not, your practitioner may suggest scheduling an external cephalic version, where she'll try to turn your baby by manipulating her from the outside of your belly.
We had a appointment with her doc on Tuesday as well. Everyone is happy and healthy. The boys seem to happy and don't want to be disturbed. Doc said she wanted to induce by Holly's 38th week and we agreed. So the boys will definitely be here by the 27th!! Week and a half to go. No worries about the boys being head down, they have both been head down for at least a couple of months now. Hopefully no one decides to practice their cartwheels this next week.

Oh and on Monday we went to the pond/lake thing in our 'hood and took some preggers shots of Holly and her bulbous belly. I should have those posted manana.
