The Simpsons...Da, da da, dada da da, da DADADA!!

*Don't have a cow man, no spoilers in this post*

Can't say we had been eagerly awaiting the Simpsons Movie, but once it was here we were stoked! We picked up some Buzz Cola from our neighborhood Kwik-E-Mart for the occassion. Ray and Michelle invited peeps to join them at the Alamo Drafthouse (one of the best places to watch a movie) and we didn't hesitate. Well, we did take a while to buy tickets, but it was cause stoopid work was being annoying again and distracting me. Last Monday I finally got online and ordered the tickets. A day later they were sold out. Once we got the tickets, we couldn't wait for the movie.

Friday finally came and we got to the theatre about an hour early. Ray and Michelle were already there in line, and Dave and Bobbi had joined them. We squeezed in and handed out some ice cold Buzz Cola and luckily no one complained about the cutsies. The Alamo was selling Buzz Cola and Duff Beer (their own brand) at the bar and allowed you to take it out while you wait in line. So when they let us in, they just assumed we bought the drinks there and we didn't have to throw them away. Woohoo!! Dave brought the Ralphie mask/helmet he made for halloween a while back. We got in and sat down pretty early and enjoyed Simpsons clips on the big screen. Dave and Bobbi order a bucket of Duff Beer and we enjoyed some drinks while waiting for the movie to start.

This pic was random and seemed to fit really well. Was taking a picture of our Duff and Buzz drinks and Homer happened to be on the big screen in the background going through the fridge. If you look through the photo album, there is one pic of me wearing the Ralphie with Holly and the look of fear on Holly's face is great. She has a fear of people in masks...makes for fun times for me. We ordered from the special menu which included: Buzz Cola, Squishees, Duff Beer, Double Krusty Burger Meal, The Ribwhich, Lisa's Gazpacho with Toasted Ciabatta and ofcourse Homer's favorite, donuts. I was going to have some pizza off the regular menu...but couldn't pass up on The Ribwhich. It was delicious.

The movie had us laughing, we weren't disappointed in the least. It seemed to go by really fast, but I think thats just a sign of how entertaining the movie was. Like I said, no spoilers...so this is where our story ends. Go see the movie. Here are the rest of the pics from the night: Photo Album.

Bobbi posted her pics of the night HERE on Picasa.
